Cancellation Policy/Insurance |
Cruises can be cancelled with no penalty UNTIL the final payment date.
After that date passes, the cruise line will NOT refund or APPLY your payment to any other cruise. Other suppliers (air, hotel, condos, vacation packages, etc) may charge fees for changes/cancellations. PLEASE read the terms and conditions of your reservation to see if change/cancellation fees may apply.
Insurance: We highly recommend the purchase of vacation/travel insurance. This insurance is not just for cancellations, but covers travel delays and interruptions, lost or delayed luggage, medical/dental expenses and emergency medical evacuation. I have personally left on cruises with hundreds of passengers not on board due to severe weather, left in-laws at an airport enroute due to a family emergency, and seen ambulances take people away from cruises, both at U.S. ports and OVERSEAS.
